without saying a word of good bye. He is more than 400 years old
and lives already in the year of middleages. Also like Dante he
transfers in different bodies for eternal life, which body
starts to rot and the reason of his suddenly disappearence. |

Winry Rockbel is Ed's mechanic. She grew up in Rizenbul Village as a good friend to both Ed and Al. Winry is completely obsessed with machinery and is rarely seen without her beloved wrench, which is not only a tool but a vicious weapon. Winry is also known for her violent temper, when provoked she will cause those around her serious head-pain via wrench, which is one of the happy goodnesses of her mechanical obsession. Her hobbies include working on machinery, hitting people and calling Ed short. |

Liar living woman, who wants to be united with her boyfriend
again, who dies. By meeting Ed she slowly gives up with this
dream. Later she becomes the Holy Mother in her village, who

Roy Mustang is one of the coolest character in the whole Fullmetal Alchemist series. He might be sarcastic, but it is very easy to see that he is very goodlooking. Also known as the Flame Alchemist, Roy Mustang is a veteran of many brutal battles, including the Ishbal Massacre. Though he fights for what he believes in, he can't help but come to grips with his bloody past at war. But no matter what happens, Roy Mustang still keeps his coolness. |

Alex Louis Armstrong, the strong Arm Alchemist, also a major in the army, plays many roles in protecting the Elrics, including asigning people to protect them while they researched Marco's notes in Central. Also he carried out Hues' will trying to help Mustang "climb to the top". Major Armstrong uses a unique combination of alchemy and streangth to attack his opponets, and can transmute anything he punches. |

Second Lieutenant Jean Havoc is one of the military officials in central. He is somewhat of a chain smoker and is rarely seen without a cigarette somewhere near him. He has horrible luck with women, as depicted in episode 37 when the other officers attempt to find him a date. He is very laid back and has a habit of backing out of any seemingly difficult assingment. |

Maes Hughes is a fellow state alchemist and close friend of Ed and Al. He often assists them in researching the philosopher's stone. Hughes spends his free time obcessing over his family to anyone that will listen (wife Gracia and daughter Alicia). Mustang and Hughes are old friends. |

Second Lieutenant Heymans Breda is good at chess and is one of Mustang's subordinates. He occasionally plays pranks on the other members of Mustang's group, such as impersonating Major Armstrong upon their transfer to Central. He also has a talent for other strategy games, including go and shogi. He suffers from Cynophobia, the extreme fear of dogs, so much so that he refers to a puppy like Black Hayate as a 'beast'. |

Master Sergeant Kain Fuery is a kind man who cares for animals and everyone else. He was the one who brought Black Hayate into the eastern Headquarters, though he freaked out about Riza's methods of training. He is part of Roy Mustang's group and is the youngest and lowest-ranked member. A common unofficial translation has his name as Caine Fury. In the anime, he gets injured in his forehead due to ricochet off Ed's automail hand. Fuery is extremely talented with radio signals. |

Name: Riza Hawkeye

Riza Hawkeye is a first leutinent in the military. She has worked alongside Roy Mustang her entire life or, as she loves to put it, "babysits him". She is somewhat of a work-a-holic to put it quite lightly and is extremely trigger happy. Somewhere along the way she ends up owning the dog, 'Black Hayate' whom she whips into shape with her infamous gun. She appears to feel something more then friendship toward Colonel Roy Mustang, although it is extrodinarily hard to read her emotions. Her hobbies include training her dog, looking out for the incompentent, but adorable, Roy and shooting things and people. |

Shou Tuker was know as the Sewing-LIfe Alchemist. He was the first person to create a talking chimera. When his yearly alchemic test came up he combined his daughter and his dog and created a talking chimera that Scar found and killed. |

Fuhrer King Bradley would have to be the happiest character in the whole Fullmetal Alchemist series. Though he is the most powerful man in Edward & Alphonse's world, he is still very calm. King Bradrey is also known by a different name: Pride. He is the last of the Homunculi, and he hides his "mark" under his eyepatch. |

Scar is an Ishbalan (a race of people with red eyes and tan skin who worship the god, Ishbala, they are stronly opposed to alchemy) who is 'cursed' with an alchemic arm“.He has a large scar in the shape of an X on his forehead. His right arm was given to him by his brother, seeing as how his own arm was ripped off and his brother was near death. The markings allow him to destroy, but not to create. He has sworn revenge on every state alchemist of the Ishbalan massacre (a slaughter dealt by the state alchemists to the Ishbalans). He uses his cursed arm to blow the brains out of his opponent. |
